Daring Way Workshop

The Daring Way ™ is a highly experiential methodology based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown.

the daring wayI am a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator (CDWF). The method was designed for work with individuals, couples, families, work teams, and organizational leaders. It can be facilitated in clinical, educational, and professional settings.

During the process we explore topics such as vulnerability, courage, shame, and worthiness. We examine the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are holding us back and we identify the new choices and practices that will move us toward more authentic and wholehearted living. The primary focus is on developing shame resilience skills and developing daily practices that transform the way we live, love, parent, and lead.

Further information is available at http://www.thedaringway.com.

The group will focus on exploring the central themes in Brené Brown’s research: vulnerability, courage, trust, empathy, worthiness, shame, and perfectionism.

First of 5 insights from Brené Brown’s Daring Greatly

“I carry a small sheet of paper in my wallet that has written on it the names of people whose opinions of me matter. To be on that list, you have to love me for my strengths and struggles. You have to know that I’m trying to be Wholehearted, but I still cuss too much, flip people off under the steering wheel, and have both Lawrence Welk and Metallica on my iPod.”
